New drop off of Mac Miller’s upcoming mixtape “Best Day Ever”. This song called “In The Air” is just classic Mac to me. I’ve been a huge fan of Mac Miller for a while now and this song really reminds me a lot of Mac’s classic laid back songs like “Senior Skip Day”. Fresh new track from the BASED GOD. This track has an absolutely insane beat from 9th Wonder, and features Jean Grae one of the best female MC’s ever along with a dope verse from Phonte (of Little Brother). Not a typical Lil B track, it seems his music is evolving a bit but this song is a banger.

So Jared sent me over the first of the new Timeflies Tuesday series. Basically the concept of these videos is to keep everyone updated on Timeflies, as well as previewing new stuff they are working on. I’m going to post these up on Stags Flow because as you guys know by now, Timeflies is going to be performing at StagStock 2011 with Collin McLoughlin, Trey Palms, and Sam Adams. Hopefully, these will give you a little insight into Timeflies as a group. If you take the time to watch the video, Rob gives a little shout out to the show at Fairfield U, as the boys are excited. My boy Greg Diddel put on the Green Beer Day show they talk about and I heard it was killer. The beat Timeflies previews is going to be an absolute banger. The homie Goone is back! Everyone knows Spring Break is right around the corner. Yes, I know I will be in Geneva, NY playing Hobart in lacrosse instead of being on a beach somewhere, but I can still fantasize. Goone creates an awesome up-tempo dance party track to be on full blast during your spring break drinking sessions. Turning Van Halen’s “Panama” into an electro filled fire mix is definitely fly. This is going to be on the next Dance Party Friday mix for sure! Take Goone’s advice and get black out!!

90’s Finest is back! I ran a Introducing feature on the boys reppin’ Toronto back in February. Well, their manager Matty has come through in the clutch once again. He sent over their newest track “September, I’ll be gone, a remix to the Mike Posner original. I’ve had 90’s Finest on replay since I first received their music and this track is no different. 90’s Finest is a dope duo that brings hip-hop and electro music into one. “Septemeber, I’ll be gone” illustrates why 90’s Finest is innovative. Not only do their create hip-hop / electro bangers, but they can create a laid back vibe as well. There is some masterful recreation of the Mike Posner original that creates that laid back feel, but still implementing a hip-hop sound. The lyricism from Remy and Steve is on point. Not only do they provide some serious bars, but they show a different side of 90’s finest with some Mike Posner style vocals. “September, I’ll be gone” is the second single off their upcoming mixtape “Remembering the 90’s” and the mixtape is debuting very soon! For those of you who didn’t know:
90’s Finest is comprised of Steve Morris (showtime) and Remy Martin (rematic). Steve is a 20 year old who was born and raised in Toronto, while Remy is an 18 year old who also stems from Toronto. These 2 Toronto natives attended the same high school, Thomas A. Blakelock. After graduation Steve headed to Brock University to study Kinesiology, while Remy took a year off to concentrate on music.90’s Finest focuses on producing quality electro/hip-hop/dub-rap music and will continue to produce music for a long time to come.
